mypet.ink is a community platform where pet lovers can share, discover, and vote for their favorite pets. You can reach us at hello@mypet.ink.
What Information We Collect
When you submit a pet:
- Pet name, category, and bio
- Photos and/or video clips
- Your general location (city/area)
When you vote:
- Your email address (used only for OTP verification and vote tracking)
- We do not store your email permanently after verification is complete
Automatically:
- Basic usage data like pages visited and votes cast
- Your IP address (used only to enforce the one vote per 24hr rule)
We do not collect your name, phone number, or payment information at this time.
How We Use Your Information
- To display your pet in the gallery and leaderboard
- To verify your identity when voting via OTP
- To prevent spam votes
- To respond to your messages if you contact us
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads.
Photos & Content You Submit
- By submitting photos, you confirm you own them or have permission to share them
- You give mypet.ink permission to display them on the site
- You can request removal anytime by emailing hello@mypet.ink
- We will remove your content within 7 days of your request
Cookies
We use minimal cookies only to:
- Remember your votes
- Keep the site functioning properly
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Third Party Services
We use the following services to run the site:
- Resend — for sending OTP/email verification
- Hostinger — for website hosting
- Replit — for app infrastructure
Each of these has their own privacy policy.
Children's Privacy
mypet.ink is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us and we will remove it promptly.
Your Rights
You can at any time:
- Request to see what data we have about you
- Request deletion of your submitted content
- Contact us with any privacy concern

We plan to add new features in future versions of mypet.ink. When we do, this privacy policy will be updated before those features go live.
